[Bug 1248100] Re: Logitech Unified Receiver very laggy

Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer
to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest
v3.12 kernel[0].

If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following
tag 'kernel-fixed-upstream'.

If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the tag:
'kernel-bug-exists-upstream'.

If you are unable to test the mainline kernel, for example it will not boot, please add the tag: 'kernel-unable-to-test-upstream'.
Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug as "Confirmed".

Thanks in advance.

Title:
  Logitech Unified Receiver very laggy

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
Since upgrading to 13.10, my wireless Logitech keyboard and mouse have
been very laggy and quite unusable. The mouse barely moves or responds
most of the time, and the keyboard either ignores input or gets stuck
on a character, or sequence of characters, and repeats them
  constantly.

They were both working in 13.04, but since upgrading via a fresh
install, to 13.10, they won't work.

I found a similar sounding bug
  (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1194649) which
sounded promising, but everyone has reported that their issue was
fixed, so I decided it might be better to report a new one since my
issue isn't fixed. I'm fully updated via apt-get with no fixes.

Let me know what I can do to help debug the issue.
