Hello. I guess this ticket should be closed now. I used the workaround for
some time and now with 13.10 & 13.04 I had no issue anymore.

Bug description:
I get regular kernel panic since I installed Ubuntu 11.10. I don't
have any specific steps to reproduce it. Sometimes it is every 10
minutes sometimes I can work several hours without any issues.
