[Bug 1086062] Re: Black screen at boot on i915

fizista, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any
activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If
so, could you please test for this with the latest development release
of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com
/daily-live/current/ .

If it remains an issue, please just make a comment to this.

Title:
Black screen at boot on i915

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
After a new installation of Ubuntu 12.10, the system does not start.
Black screen, the keys do not work, but I was able to log into the
  system via SSH.

Graphical interface starts only when you add to the GRUB command
acpi=off. With these settings, Unity is very slow.

A bug that could be the reason problems taken from the file dmesg.log
