new to launchpad should I reply to this mail or update the case on
lauchnpad.net ?? What the best for you ?
If by mail :
this is a new issue for me (this asus RF510C was bought before last WE)
Another one (asus X32VD) is working fine with 13.10 (2 asus installed
with ubuntu last WE)
my laptop and the one of my daughter working fine with 13.04
testing the latest kernel on the RF510C will not be easy (it is
currently used by a friend since this WE), but I can try ...
I will also make some test with unloading/reloading modules...

repeatable : yes (each time)
When booting kubuntui : no wifi, rfkill list indicates :
0: phy0: Wireless LAN
Soft blocked: no
Hard blocked: no
1: asus-wlan: Wireless LAN
Soft blocked: no
Hard blocked: no
FN+F2 (normal way in the doc , but never tried as W8 was directly
removed after buying) doesn't work
Sequence to get wifi :
boot
open kde session
FN+F1 : (go to sleep mode)
power on : to go off sleep mode
WIFI is working
