[Bug 1068436] Re: Bluetooth led isn't being turned off when bluetooth is disabled

Can confirm seeing the same issue with 13.10 and Dell Wireless 350
Bluetooth adaptor. Likely this is a kernel issue and will need reporting

 #182101 is now marked invalid

Bluetooth led isn't being turned off when bluetooth is disabled

Status in “bluez” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  Hardware: Dell Inspiron 6400

Problem: I disable bluetooth in bluetooth applet. Bluetooth icon
becomes 'grey' but bluetooth led on the laptop is still on.

Expected: bluetooth led to go off when bluetooth is disabled.

This used to work fine in 11.04 and problem exists in 12.10.\\Please
let me know if I can provide any more information.
