Title:
Display resolutions missing on external VGA display [regressing] on
12.10
Status in The Linux Kernel:
Invalid
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
On Ubuntu 12.10, Also tested with mainline kernels 3.6.3 and 3.7.x RC1
On the same hardware but with ubuntu 12.04 I could select every
resolution I liked, including 1080p and 720p (widescreen resolutions).
Since I'm using ubuntu 12.10 I can only select 800*600 and 1024*800.
