I have not used this in a while and I think its not a Ubuntu team
issue its a DE issue.

Title:
  Xubuntu 12.10 Taskbar Scrolling like ticker?

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  I am running Xubuntu 12.10 and the taskbar out no where starts
  scrolling like a ticker.Are there any ideas on this I think its a bug
  I hope I am reporting this right here are my specs below.

  CPU:Intell Xeon 5130 2.0GHzx2
  Ram:6gig
  GPU:HD5770 1gig GDDR5
