Title:
Acer AO722 freezes after auto login

Status in The Linux Kernel:
  Incomplete
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
Acer AO722 freezes after auto login.
Workaround: set up Network Boot as first boot device; it times out then normal boot from HDD and works OK.
This workaround is ok in test but unacceptable when 12.04 LTS is released.
This problem was there several months ago when I bought my Acer AO722; despite numerous kernel upgrades, problem is still there.
