[Bug 1103197] Re: SD Card not accessible until reboot
jascha, as per http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers an update is
available for your BIOS (1.09). If you update to this following
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BiosUpdate , does it change anything?
If not, could you please both specify what happened, and provide the output of the following terminal command:
sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date
Please note your current BIOS is already in the Bug Description, so
posting this on the old BIOS would not be helpful.
For more on BIOS updates and linux, please see
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs#Bug_reporting_etiquette
.
Thank you for your understanding.

Title:
SD Card not accessible until reboot
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
I put a SD Card into the card reader of my notebook. It won't be
detected, dmesg says "Timeout, waiting for hardware interrupt".
If i reboot the machine, the SD Card can be mounted one or two times,
after that the same problem described above appears. If i remove the
SD Card and put it in again, it is the same problem.
Tested multiple SD Cards from 2 GB SD, 4 GB SDHC, 64 GB SDXC and many
MicroSD Cards with Adapter, it is all the same.
