[Bug 1253734] Re: HP EliteBook 6930p: scaling_max_freq is less than highest frequencies in scaling_available_frequencies
Can you try the following:
Edit /etc/default/grub (you need to do this using root privilege) and
change
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash"
to
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash processor.ignore_ppc=1"
and then run:
sudo update-grub
and reboot. Maybe this will work around the issue.
