  8086:0046 kde desktop effects disables by default and desktop freezes
  when enabled

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel

  Starting the KDE desktop the desktop effects are disabled. When enabled manually, all effects seem to work but after some time the desktop freezes. I can still move the cursor and change to the console.
  The console is flodded with following error messages:
