[Bug 1218753] Re: [HP 4520S, 3.11 regression] Keyboard stops working after S3
David Henningsson, as per http://h20565.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.PAGE/public/psi/swdHome/?sp4ts.oid=4145326&spf_p.tpst=swdMain&spf_p.prp_swdMain=wsrp-navigationalState%3DswEnvOID%253D4059%257CswLang%253D%257Caction%253DlistDriver&javax.portlet.begCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken&javax.portlet.endCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken#BIOS an update is available for your BIOS (F.21). If you update to this following https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BiosUpdate , does it change anything? If it doesn't, could you please both specify what happened, and provide the output of the following terminal command:
sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date
As well, if still reproducible, what was the final commit from your
bisect?

Title:
[HP ProBook 4520s Notebook PC] Keyboard stops working after S3 3.11
regression
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
After S3 on this laptop, the keyboard is completely non-responsive. (E
g, Ctrl-Alt-F1 does not work) The trackpad is still working though.
I believe this is a kernel problem because
1) It started happening recently, i e, it was not a problem when running with a 3.10 kernel.
2) I can't find *any* keys working, not even magic keys (REISUB)
