[Bug 1203982] Re: [Dell Inspiron One 2020] Unable to adjust screen brightness
Po-Hsu Lin, as per http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/Product/inspiron-one-20-2020-aio an update is available for your BIOS (A06). If you update to this following https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BiosUpdate , does it change anything? If it doesn't, could you please both specify what happened, and provide the output of the following terminal command:
sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date

CID: 201301-12632 Dell Inspiron One 2020
On this all-in-one desktop, I was unable to adjust screen brightness in System Settings/Brightness and Lock
The slidebar of brightness level could be freely adjusted , but nothing happens.
The OSD works fine on this system, screen brightness could be adjusted through it
But the change is not reflected in "Brightness and Lock"
