Title:
Wi-Fi WAP/WAP2 Connection Failure
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Ubuntu Desktop 9.04 Beta
Ralink Technology, Corp. 802.11n wireless card will not connect to
wireless network if WAP/WAP2 security is used. It will properly ask
for password and attempt to connect but always fail. Rebooted router
several times, tried changing password, no change in result. Card
will properly connect if no security is used. Installed all available
updates as of Saturday morning but no change in result.
This is still an upgrade from Ubuntu Desktop 8.10 since in that
version the default install will not even detect the wireless cards
existence.
