Title:
Please backport patches for MXSLDR
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Triaged
Bug description:
The Freescale i.MX23 and i.MX28 devices need additional quirks in the
kernel's HID layer to operate correctly. Without these quirks, these
devices will suffer from software crash of their BootROM and not
operate correctly. The MXSLDR [1] tool will not work correctly without
the quirks in place either. The patches for this issue were accepted
into linux-stable long time ago, but are not present in 12.04.3
version of Ubuntu. Please backport [2], [3], [4] to resolve this
issue.
Thank you!
