The apport-collect came back with you are not the originator of this
bug.

And I am not sure how comfortable I am at sending out a complete system
snapshot, if that is what it is. Is there a way to run this locally and
then send out the txt file?

Title:
  low graphics mode boot error

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
Ubuntu 12.04 64 bit with Gnome fallback

System starts with message the system is running in low graphics mode,
the desktop does not come up, and the system is locked from all
  further entries.

After one or more system restarts it boots normally. Problem discussed
  in http://askubuntu.com/questions/141606/how-to-fix-the-system-is-
  running-in-low-graphics-mode-error with several possible solutions.
One that works is to sudo rm /etc/X11/xorg.conf - as long as this file
is gone, there are no more boot errors. However this file keeps re-
appearing and it seems to be re-introduced by the update linux-
  firmware_1.79.9_all.deb.
