Title:
System won't boot after update
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
After updating a clean install of Ubuntu 12.04LTS the computer hangs
on the black boot screen. Output to the screen is:
swapon failed: device or resource busy
mountall terminated with status 255
mountall: problem activating swap
initct1: event failed
checking battery state [OK]
The computer just stays there until I ctrl+alt+delete and it reboots
and does the same thing. I re-installed 12.04 and it worked fine
until I updated it again. It says I need to reboot to install updates
and then hangs again.
