[Bug 1261753] Re: Laptop often suspends once immediately after resume
Owen Williams, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu better. As per http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/Product/xps-13-l321x-mlk an update is available for your BIOS (A10). If you update to this following https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BiosUpdate , does it change anything? If it doesn't, could you please both specify what happened, and just provide the output of the following terminal command:
sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date
Please note your current BIOS is already in the Bug Description, so
posting this on the old BIOS would not be helpful.
For more on BIOS updates and linux, please see
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs#Bug_reporting_etiquette
.
Thank you for your understanding.

Title:
[Dell XPS 13 (L322X)] Laptop often suspends once immediately after
resume
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
I am seeing this behavior:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1243647 and was
told to file a separate bug. It takes 10-15 seconds for the second
suspend to trigger. I can tell I'm going to get a double-suspend when
the network doesn't come up after resume. I have tried the nmcli nm
sleep false trick.
