[Bug 1256998] Re: cursor is not visible (sometimes) after suspend/resume on Lenovo Ideapad Yoga 13

Brendan Donegan, as per http://download.lenovo.com/express/ddfm.html an update is available for your BIOS (66CN55WW). If you update to this following https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BiosUpdate , does it change anything? If it doesn't, could you please both specify what happened, and just provide the output of the following terminal command:
sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date

Thank you for your understanding.

Title:
  [Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13] cursor is not visible (sometimes) after
  suspend/resume

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Often, after suspending and resuming this system, I that the cursor
  is not visible. If I move the trackpad then I can see the cursor
  having an effect on the UI (hover effects trigger for example), but at
  no point is it visible. This can only be cured by logging out and back
  in from lightdm. I have never seen this behaviour on other hardware.
