Title:
cellphone recognizes paired Ubuntu computer as headset
Status in “bluez” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Binary package hint: bluez
Since a few weeks, whenever someone calls me on my cellphone while I
am in range of my laptop (running current karmic amd64), I do not hear
the person, and I see the headset symbol on the phone (HTC diamond
with Windows Mobile 6).
The phone is paired with my laptop, as I sometimes use it via
bluetooth PAN to use mobile broadband.
At first, I though my headset accidentally turned on while lying
around in my room... :) But that wasn't the case. It was my laptop
that got in between. I saw this in my syslog just now:

Ubuntu should either display some visual feedback that it grabbed the
call from the phone and offer an option to disable it, or should not
do it in the first place.
