Title:
[20216, Realtek ALC282, Speaker, Internal] Power-Save buzzing, and
suspend/shutdown popping
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Hello,
I'm having a couple issues regarding the audio on my Ideapad Y410P
laptop. The first issue is that when external audio devices are
plugged into the headphone jack on the laptop, the internal speakers
begin making a high-pitch buzzing noise until the device is unplugged.
I have discovered that I can remedy this issue by disabling "Auto-
Mute" in alsamixer.
Another issue I have been having is a faint buzzing sound followed by
a loud pop that emits from my laptop's speakers upon suspending or
shutting it down. The volume at the time of shutdown does not have any
effect on this.
Finally, when my laptop is running off battery, my internal speakers
emit a high pitched buzzing sound when the audio is idle. However,
disabling the audio device power-save feature remedies this problem
entirely.
Thank you for your help, and if there is anything I can do to help
with the process, I would be more than happy to participate.
