[Bug 497986] Re: CONFIG_INFINIBAND_NES should be enabled in kernel

Roland Dreier, this would appear fixed in Trusty:
git clone git clone git://kernel.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ubuntu-trusty.git && cd trusty && grep -r CONFIG_INFINIBAND_NES=
debian.master/changelog:  * [Config] Enable CONFIG_INFINIBAND_NES=m
debian.master/config/config.common.ubuntu:CONFIG_INFINIBAND_NES=m

Please reopen if this doesn't work out for you, and execute the following in a terminal:
apport-collect 497986

Title:
  CONFIG_INFINIBAND_NES should be enabled in kernel

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  The Lucid (and Karmic) has CONFIG_INFINIBAND_NES=n. This config
  option is perhaps misleadingly named but it is needed to build support
  for Intel NetEffect Ethernet Server Cluster Adapters (a variety of
  Intel 10 Gb Ethernet NICs). So the kernel config should be updated to
  have CONFIG_INFINIBAND_NES=m.
