[Bug 1180896] [NEW] watchdog hang on shutdown

Only occurs when using kernels 3.2.0-38-generic or above, and when virtualbox modules are loaded at shutdown time.
shutdown -r & -h both hang, but not always. I'd say it was intermittent,but this description seems to be deprecated.
