Title:
  RE: Bug #1003297 - forcedeth

Status in The Linux Mint Distribution:
  New

Bug description:
  Following on from: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1003297
  My post: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1003297/comments/14
  Request for info: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1003297/comments/15

My computer only work if I perform the follwing every time that I boot
  to Linux:

  - boot into rescue mode
  - drop to the terminal
  - run "rmmod forcedeth"
  - then "modprobe forcedeth msi=0 msix=0"
  - resume a normal boot

I have found no other workaround and no way to successfully automate
  the process.

This is with Ubuntu and Mint (and other ubuntu derivatives).

  Thanks.
