[Bug 873375] Re: nvidia-settings freeze on activating TwinView [needs nvidia-settings 290]
The TwinView solution was given up in favour RandR. This means that
screen configuration is possible with the system provided graphical
tools.
There is enough reason to understand this bug can be closed as a newer
version of software-package didn't make it appear any longer.
Thanks for reporting this bug and all the energy you gave in order to
make Ubuntu better.
If you dont think the update resolved the initial problem then feel free
to reopen the bug and attach logs that are necessary to get evidence.

Bug description:
When I try to activate my secondary display the nvidia-settings software will freeze when i choose the option "TwinView".
After killing the program I cant start it in this session again, so I have to logout und relogin then.
