[Bug 1265198] Re: Bluetooth problems after 13.10. update (Asus Zenbook)
Bachi, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu better. As per http://www.asus.com/Notebooks_Ultrabooks/ASUS_ZENBOOK_Touch_UX31A/#support an update is available for your BIOS (219). If you update to this following https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BiosUpdate , does it change anything? If it doesn't, could you please both specify what happened, and just provide the output of the following terminal command:
sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date
Please note your current BIOS is already in the Bug Description, so
posting this on the old BIOS would not be helpful.
For more on BIOS updates and linux, please see
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs#Bug_reporting_etiquette
.
Thank you for your understanding.

- Bluetooth mouse fails after the computer comes back from stand-by. And

- This worked perfectly before on 13.4.
-
- Asus Zenbook prime.
-
- PS: I also noticed that some trackpad settings were resetted, e.g. the
- scroll by two-finger-setting is enabled again (I turned it off
- previously). Maybe this is related.
