[Bug 1237296] Re: ath9k QCA9565/AR9565/QCWB335 Bluetooth not working

Joshua, as per https://launchpadlibrarian.net/154392840/BootDmesg.txt :
[    0.000000] ------------[ cut here ]------------
[    0.000000] WARNING: CPU: 0 PID: 0 at /build/buildd/linux-3.11.0/drivers/iommu/dmar.c:488 warn_invalid_dmar+0x7e/0x90()
[ 0.000000] Your BIOS is broken; DMAR reported at address 0!
[ 0.000000] BIOS vendor: Insyde Corp.; Ver: V2.04; Product Version: V2.04
...
[ 0.201906] [Firmware Bug]: ACPI: BIOS _OSI(Linux) query ignored
...
[ 0.697184] [Firmware Bug]: battery: (dis)charge rate invalid.

Hence, as per http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers an update is available for your BIOS (2.12). If you update to this following https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BiosUpdate , does it change anything? If it doesn't, could you please both specify what happened, and just provide the output of the following terminal command:
sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date

Please note your current BIOS is already in the Bug Description, so
posting this on the old BIOS would not be helpful.

For more on BIOS updates and linux, please see
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs#Bug_reporting_etiquette
.

Thank you for your understanding.

Bug description:
  Hello,

  I got myself a brand new Acer Aspire E1-572-54204G50Mnkk, because of
  the shine new Haswell hardware I choose to install Ubuntu 13.10 Beta
  2.

  This laptop uses a Atheros AR9565 802.11 b/g/n 1 × 1 WiFi + Bluetooth
  4.0 combination adapter, Wireless is working fine. But Bluetooth
  doesn't, it seems to be successfully deteced but I can't see any other
  Bluetooth devices and they can't see me too.

  Yours sincerly
  Joshua
