[Bug 415539] Re: DVD/CD drive isn't picked up after eject


Mark Brown, thank you for your comment. So your hardware and problem may be tracked, could you please file a new report with Ubuntu by executing the following in a terminal while booted into a Ubuntu repository kernel (not a mainline one) via:
ubuntu-bug linux

  Binary package hint: nautilus

  Installed Ubuntu on my new laptop recently (Acer Timeline 4810T) and
  have been enjoying it immensely however I've recently watched a DVD
  and then, when finished, I ejected it and wanted to watch a new one
  but suddenly the drive is  longer detected!
