Title:
Kernel 3.11 does not boot
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Hello,
Upgrading to saucy, the kernel 3.11 does not boot. I kept using the kernel 3.8 and it works fine.
I have a Fujitsu M2010.
The problem is acpi related since it boots with acpi=off, but does not with any of noapic, nolapic, noirqpoll.
But with acpi=off, resolution is wrong etc then.
I also tried other distributions and all hang when the kernel is 3.11
Symptoms are equals to the ones reported in bug 1237336.
