Message #40356
[Bug 353499] [NEW] laptop doesn't power off or suspend, but it does after waking up from a hibernation
You have been subscribed to a public bug:
Like the title says, my laptop doesn't power off when I try to shutdown.
It neither suspends. However, if I hibernate the computer and start it
again, it does shutdown and suspend; and after a reboot, it is again not
working.
Attached some information you may need.
P.S.: I am currently using Ubuntu 9.04 beta, and this problem also
exists on other previous Ubuntu distributions.
