  network-manager tries to connect to eth0 when cable is unplugged --

Bug description:
  Even when the cable is unplugged, n-m tries for quite a while to
  connect to Auto eth0.  As my wireless connection is unreliable, this
  makes for a confusing wait while the wireless signal is negotiated.
  This has just started happening since the upgrade to quantal.
