[Bug 1277165] Re: SVF13N1L2ES touchpad detected as pointer instead of touchpad
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1166442 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1166442
After more searching it seems this is a duplicate of
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1166442
The dkms commands posted by kendatsuba fix the problem .
I'm curious why a functional 6 month old patch still not incorporated
into newer kernels ?
Closing as a duplicate but would like a comment on how long patches
generally take to get into the kernel.

Elantech clickpad/touchpad lacks multitouch features.

Title:
SVF13N1L2ES touchpad detected as pointer instead of touchpad
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Touchpad seems to be detected as pointer, which I think is the reason
there is no multitouch.
