Title:
error mounting /proc/bus/usb on boot
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
After installation of 10.04 LTS kernel 2.6.32-22-generic, on boot I got a screen with error:
"An error occurred while mounting /proc/bus/usb
Press S to skip mounting or M for manual recovery"
Manual recovery bring me to the console but it unuseful. Pressing S
will continue the boot normally. All USB devices seems working. The
problem is that the boot process need assistance pressing S every time
and do not automatically continue.
WORKAROUND: commenting the line in /etc/fstab.
