[Bug 1149269] Re: Dell Precision T1650 - FWTS reports critical errors during Suspend/Resume testing
A15 - 09/09/2013
With 12.04.1 + 3.2.0-59 on 201201-10376
Critical failures: NONE
High failures: 3
s3: HIGH Kernel message: [ 484.162827] ACPI Error: Field [IRQE] at 152 exceeds Buffer [NULL] size 128 (bits) (20110623/dsopcode-236)
s3: HIGH Kernel message: [ 484.162830] ACPI Error: Method parse/execution failed [\_SB_.PCI0.LPCB.SIO1.DSRS] (Node ffff8801003a73e8), AE_AML_BUFFER_LIMIT (20110623/psparse-536)
s3: HIGH Kernel message: [ 484.162834] ACPI Error: Method parse/execution failed [\_SB_.PCI0.LPCB.UAR1._SRS] (Node ffff8801003a7b18), AE_AML_BUFFER_LIMIT (20110623/psparse-536)
FWTS has lowered the error message from CTIRICAL to HIGH
Since this system has already been certified with 12.04.1, I'll close this bug with "Won't Fix" base on Alex's comment in comment #15

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Won't Fix
Bug description:
Certifying 12.04.1 and latest SRU on this system. During hte 30 cycle
suspend test, FWTS logged a lot of errors in klog such as:
FAILED [CRITICAL] KlogACPIErrorFieldexceedsBuffer: Test 1, CRITICAL Kernel message: [ 2264.627200]
ACPI Error: Field [IRQE] at 152 exceeds Buffer [NULL] size 128 (bits) (20110623/dsopcode-236)
FAILED [HIGH] KlogACPIErrorMethodExecutionParse: Test 1, HIGH Kernel message: [
3843.492324] ACPI
Error: Method parse/execution failed [\_SB_.PCI0.LPCB.SIO1.DSRS] (Node ffff88010
03a7208),
AE_AML_BUFFER_LIMIT (20110623/psparse-536)
ADVICE: Method failed: ResourceSourceIndex is present but
ResourceSource is not.
FAILED [HIGH] KlogACPIErrorMethodExecutionParse: Test 1, HIGH Kernel message: [
3843.492328] ACPI
Error: Method parse/execution failed [\_SB_.PCI0.LPCB.UAR1._SRS] (Node ffff88010
03a7938),
AE_AML_BUFFER_LIMIT (20110623/psparse-536)
This did not appear to affect the system (Is successfully suspended
and resumed 30 times) but FWTS marked these as High and Critical
errors.
