[Bug 1285822] Re: Kernel panic at boot
I cannot even boot at all even using the recovery options.
All the kernels give a kernel panic.
What good is it to download the latest kernel if i can't boot into ubuntu?
** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu)
Status: Incomplete => Confirmed
** Description changed:
- OS: Ubuntu 14.04
+ OS: Ubuntu 14.04
Kernel: 3.13-10, and the two releasees after that.
Device: Microsoft Surface Pro (1st gen)
I updated packages on 14.04 including linux-firmware and linux kernels a few weeks back.
Once these updates were done, I rebooted my PC and a kernel panic happens evry time I boot from there on.
- I currently have no access to the os hdd except read/write from the Live-CD.
-
+ I currently have no access to ubuntu.
Kernel Panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init! exitcode=0x00000100
I will later atach a photo of the screen with the whole error.
