Title:
after update to 13.10 closing laptop lid does not send the computer to
sleep mode
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
After update to 13.10 release, closing the lid of the laptop no longer
send the computer to sleep mode. although system settings -> power
management has the right config. one important detail here is after a
reboot first time that i close the lid computer does enter the sleep
mode. but all subsequent attempts it fails to enter sleep mode until a
shutdown/reboot is performed. using the command sudo pm-suspend does
send the computer into sleep mode on all attempts. if you need any
more information do let me know.
