I have sent in the apport information from a kubuntu 13.04 live cd. If
you require me to send in the same details from the kubuntu 13.10 live
cd with the external usb keyboard, please let me know.

Title:
  my keyboard stopped working

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
I have been using kubuntu 13.04 and was testing out the 13.10 live cd,
but unfortunately my keyboard no longer works. My laptop is an LG R1
model LGW4 and i will be attaching the dmesg and lsusb for both 13.04
  and 13.10 for your viewing.

I have checked online and other people using LG laptops were also
  mentioning similar problems.
