Title:
  Installing Trusty Tahr in Virtualbox defaults to 640x480 screen
  resolution

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  I installed Ubuntu 14.04 build of 4th March in Virtualbox 4.3.6. After installation, the display is defaulting to 640x480 resolution.
  Virtualbox guest additions do not install as it says unknown version of Xwindow system  detected. Please see the error below
