Title:
I can't adjust the brightness
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
I can't adjust the brightness. I try installing nvidia-current but
what it just did was change the resolution of my laptop to 800X600, so
what i did to change it back was to delete the xorg.conf in the
/etc/X11 directory and uninstall nvidia-current and nvidia-settings. I
also try installing the driver that i downloaded from nvidia website
(NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-295.59) and still got the same problem and again
i uninstall it but using the command nvidia-uninstaller. My major
problem here is that i dont have a driver or I installed it but
doesn't working that manages my nvidia GEFORCE GT540M graphics card.
