Message #49297
[Bug 1291328] Re: tahr "Enter password for keyring "Default" to unlock"
Thanks, how do I turn the "bot" off, or how do I keep this message from
coming up on each and every boot?
I just found an ubuntu setting about "online accounts" which I turned
off. Let me reboot and see if that helped.
If I want to access my google accounts I log on to gmail. Google is
absolutely infamous for "data mining".
Thanks.

Title:
tahr "Enter password for keyring "Default" to unlock"
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
I've been running tahr on tower, notebook, netbook both 32 bit and 64 bit for months and installs every few weeks.
Suddenly on one of the pc's but not the others after update a couple of days ago this
"Enter password for keyring "Default" to unlock"
shows up on boot and boot refuses to go on until I enter a password, and the message may come up 3 times.
Then there's a fleeting message about "unable to access online accounts" or words to that effect.
What's that? I'm entering this ubuntu-bug from an online account?
What "online account" is ubuntu talking about?
What is this problem and how do I get rid of it?
Thanks
