[Bug 1291258] Re: Stuck keys on Lenovo Yoga 13

Stefan van der Walt, as per http://download.lenovo.com/express/ddfm.html an update to your BIOS is available (66cn55ww). If you update to this following https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BiosUpdate does it change anything? If it doesn't, could you please both specify what happened, and provide the output of the following terminal command:
sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date

Please note your current BIOS is already in the Bug Description, so
posting this on the old BIOS would not be helpful.

For more on BIOS updates and linux, please see
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs#Bug_reporting_etiquette
.

Thank you for your understanding.

Title:
[Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13] Stuck keys

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
On the Lenovo Yoga 13 some keys, when being held down, are not
released (e.g. pagedn, up arrow, etc.). Once this happens, the mouse
cursor also starts scrolling in some or other direction (it can be
moved with the track-pad, but keeps moving in that direction).

Using an external keyboard fixes the problem.

At startup, the keyboard complains about unknown key events, but I
  silence those using

  sudo setkeycodes e03e 255
  sudo setkeycodes e060 255

The behavior described here happens irrespective of whether these
  commands were executed.

My temporary work-around is to put the machine to sleep; after wakeup
  the keyboard works fine again.
