[Bug 1289972] Re: sometimes suspend fails and the whole system freeze with high CPU usage
I suspended successfully over 30 times now, so I set the report as
Confirmed, with tag 'kernel-fixed-upstream'
(even though I encountered new issues at resume time)
** Tags added: kernel-fixed-upstream

Title:
sometimes suspend fails and the whole system freeze with high CPU
usage
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
About one time out of 10,
when I close the lid of my laptop (MacBook 2,1),
the system does not suspend.
Apparently the CPU is running high,
because when I return to my laptop,
it is very hot and the fan is turning full speed.
When I reopen the lid the system does not resume.
Mouse and keyboard are not active.
The only way out is to switch off the laptop.
