Title:
Upgrade to 304.88-0ubuntu0.0.2 removes overscan controls, resulting in
  partial screen being displayed.

Status in “nvidia-settings” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
Upon upgrading to nvidia-current and nvidia-settings
304.88-0ubuntu0.0.2, the overscan settings are removed from the
nvidia-settings tool, and the overscan settings previously set are
ignored. Upon starting the display manager, only a fraction of the
screen is displayed, resulting in a frustrating user experience,
having to guess where items are positioned on the panel and sidebar.
No warning, upgrade tool, or overscan dialogue was presented during
upgrade to provide a backward-compatible upgrade path.
