[Bug 495930] Re: 0a12:0001 Cambridge Silicon Radio Bluetooth Dongle gives permanent Connection timed out with Ubuntu 9.10

Michael Mess, please do not add tags to this report, as you are not the original reporter. As well, 12.04.4 is using the kernel from Saucy, so precise is the wrong tag. Despite this, if you are having a problem in Ubuntu, and so your hardware and problem may be tracked, please feel free to file a new report with Ubuntu by executing the following in a terminal while booted into a Ubuntu repository kernel (not a mainline one) via:
ubuntu-bug linux

For more on this, please read the official Ubuntu documentation:
Ubuntu Bug Control and Ubuntu Bug Squad: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/BestPractices#X.2BAC8-Reporting.Focus_on_One_Issue

Thank you for your understanding.

The thing is that daemon.log shows
  Dec 12 21:59:16 bluetoothd[4127]: Discovery session 0x190e9e0 with :1.67 activated
  while kern.log shows
  Dec 12 21:59:16 kernel: [ 864.083825] hci_cmd_task: hci0 command tx timeout

As soon I activate the discovery session the timeout shows up and therefore nothing is to find.
Happens with every bluetooth application I used.
Using the 9.10 Live CD (only got the RC) exactly the same happens.

I also tried Ubuntu 9.04 with the Live CD and there it works fine.
Connection to phone works with the 9.04 Live CD and also data transfer.
No problems detected with Ubuntu 9.04
Here some data from 9.04 test.
