[Bug 1304532] Re: /usr/lib/pm-utils/power.d/pci_devices false hangs making shutdown/reboot imposiible

SOLVED !!!!

i have this problem on DELL D430 laptop with Broadcom Wireless card

my wi-fi is not detected

if i try
nmorozov@dellD430:~$ sudo /usr/lib/pm-utils/power.d/pci_devices false
Setting Host Bridge 0000:00:00.0 to on
Setting Audio device 0000:00:1b.0 to on
Setting FireWire device 0000:02:01.1 to on
Setting Ethernet device 0000:09:00.0 to on
Setting Wireless device 0000:0c:00.0 to on
and hangs after this line can't terminate this process !!!!

sudo apt-get remove bcmwl-kernel-source will SOLVE THE PROBLEM

to detect and use my wi-fi card (i rememner that i do this in 13.10 or
13.04, i don't remember from what 13.10 is upgraded, but there is no
hang) i just install the propieatry driver with sudo apt-get install
firmware-b43-installer b43-fwcutter

that's all enjoy
