Can you see if you can at least collect the following data:
1) uname -a > uname-a.log
2) dmesg > dmesg.log
3) sudo lspci -vvnn > lspci-vvnn.log
4) cat /proc/version_signature > version.log

Bug description:
My computer hangs when I open the System Settings in Ubuntu 14.04.
This was a clean install and I have already re-installed 3 times, but
the issue still exists. This also happens when I open any setting
window (appearance, battery ,etc.).
