[Bug 1310276] Re: Computer hangs whem opening system settings

 

I installed bumblebee and now the problem is fixed. My computer did hang
during the bumblebee installation, but after rebooting and running "sudo
dpkg --configure -a" and rebooting again, the issue is fixed.

I used this command to install bumblebee:
sudo apt-get install bumblebee bumblebee-nvidia primus linux-headers-generic bbswitch-dkms mesa-utils nvidia-331-updates

  Incomplete

Bug description:
  My computer hangs when I open the System Settings in Ubuntu 14.04.
  This was a clean install and I have already re-installed 3 times, but
  the issue still exists. This also happens when I open any setting
  window (appearance, battery ,etc.).
