[Bug 1305522] Re: Backport Synaptics HID touchpad driver for 14.04
Tested on XPS 13 Haswell and confirmed that the following worked and /
or continue to work:
Synaptics touchpad now recognizes multi-touch gestures in i2c mode
Major components like wifi, audio, bluetooth did not seem to regress in
their functionality.
Ran 30 suspend/resumes using fwts and did not see any failures along the
way.
I will try and find some other laptops with different touchpad hardware
to see if AceLan's kernels cause any new problems.

It's better we can have it in 14.04 .
