Bug description:
I am running a current-updated version of 14.04.
I have a USB to Serial cable with an embedded FTDI chip.
When I plug the cable in, I *think* it should be assigned a
/dev/ttyUSB0 slot...I can then map that as need for my application.
I do not get this assignment.
