[Bug 1312783] Re: ppc64el: kernel is not built with the crash dump config enabled
This bug is awaiting verification that the kernel in -proposed solves
the problem. Please test the kernel and update this bug with the
results. If the problem is solved, change the tag 'verification-needed-
trusty' to 'verification-done-trusty'.
If verification is not done by 5 working days from today, this fix will
be dropped from the source code, and this bug will be closed.

Bug description:
The ppc64el kernel is not built with kdump support enabled
(CONFIG_CRASH_DUMP is not set). This feature also needs
git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/commit/?id=3b830c824a8b15bf032eafe09c48a09d2441f16d
